I've just completed a new TV Commercial for 'Farm Safe', which aims to bring the message of farm health and safety to all sections of the farming community. The ad features childlike drawings of farmers as stick men and has a charming naive animation style.

I've just finished animating some new sequences for the global education leader Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH). 'Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?' is a Playstation and Facebook game that teaches children maths skills.

CHILDREN IN NEED
I'm very proud to announce that a short animation I worked on will air tonight on BBC ONE network as part of 'Children in Need'. The film reflects the work of one of the charities which is supported by 'Children in Need', which helps young people that are victims of sexual abuse. It will air on BBC ONE around 23:20 to an expected audience of 6 million.

JEDWARD'S BIG ADVENTURE
I'll be spending the next three months directing animations for a new CBBC series, 'Jedward's Big Adventure'. The programme features the Irish twins and follows their journey to five stunning World Heritage Sites across the UK, teaching children history as they go.

NEWSROUND AUTISM

I've started work on a great project for 'Batero Gold', a Canadian company ethically mining gold in Columbia. I'll be creating screen printed illustrations and two commercials highlighting Batero's commitment to the local community and environment.

BELFAST MELA TV COMMERCIAL AND WEB ANIMATIONS
I'm delighted to be working on the new commercials for the Belfast Mela, Northern Ireland's largest annual festival of international culture which celebrates traditional arts, dance, music and fun and is organised by ArtEkta (Northern Ireland's leading ethnic arts organisation). It's hugely popular, having attracted over 50,000 visitors in the past three years. Final delivery will include a 15 second TV commercial and an extended 50 second version for their website.

WEBSITE UPDATE
A long overdue update to the site. In the MOTION section, the title sequence I was working on for the second series of SESAME TREE has been added. You can also see the in-programme graphics and animations I worked on for two CBBC NEWSROUND specials; 'LIVING WITH ALCOHOL' which went on to win a BAFTA for best Children’s Factual programme, and 'LIVING WITH CANCER' which I assistant directed as well as completing illustrations and animation. There has been a MOROCCO section added to the PHOTOGRAPHY section too.

CALENDAR DOGS - TITLE SEQUENCE
I've just completed a title sequence for 'Calendar Dogs', a new production for Channel 4 produced by talkbackTHAMES. A quirky cut-out style illustrates the light-hearted feel of the show, featuring dogs with afros, sunglasses and juggling..!

INTERPRETING THE PAST AT FIRST DERRY
Another extended animation to play part of an interpretative visitor experience for First Derry Presbyterian Church. The new £150,000 interpretative centre will be created at the rear of First Derry and will include a range of displays, artefact cabinets, an interactive area and audio-visual equipment.

Work has just been completed on an epic eight minute animation for an interpretative visitor experience for Dunluce castle. This new visitor centre will be open from Easter.

CBBC NEWSROUND – CANCER
I’ve really enjoyed working on the latest CBBC Newsround special. This latest programme follows three children who have been affected by the disease and retells their stories using hand drawn animated sequences. I took the role of assistant director, illustrator and animator. ‘Living With Cancer’ airs at 16.55 on Tuesday 29th of March on BBC1 and will subsequently be available as an online resource on the Newsround website.

NOT AGAIN, FARLEY! - CHARACTER ANIMATION
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Florida-based Club Coconut on a new animated CBBC series, 'Not Again, Farley!' The programme follows the adventures of brother and sister, Spud and Soda, and Farley - the dog that helps them learn new languages along the way. The series is due to be screened in 2011 and will also be available as an online resource.

SESAME TREE - TITLE SEQUENCE
I'm really excited to be working on the new title sequence for the latest series of 'Sesame
Tree', creating all illustrations and some in-programme animations. 'Sesame Tree' is an
award winning preschool series for CBeebies. Originally produced for Northern Ireland and
now broadcast across the UK, 'Sesame Tree' is a co-production with Sixteen South and
the world-famous Sesame Workshop in New York. The second series will be launched in
November 2010 and will be broadcast on CBeebies from 22 November 2010.

THE BT EXPERIMENT
We've just finished an opening animation for the BT Experiment for Bluecube. This experiment places one man in one room for one month, armed only with BT Broadband, BT Vision and a BT phone line, and will show a watching world how technology allows one person to play, watch, listen, gossip, enjoy, experience, laugh, share, communicate and interact.

I’ve completed a new title sequence for Sonas Productions. The programme, Ceol ón gCroí is a series of music documentaries that follows some of Ireland’s most noted singer/song-writers as they each compose a specially commissioned song defining various events and movements in Ireland’s history. The 6 part series begins on the 8th of February at 10pm on TG4.

I’ve just finished a title sequence for Sonas Productions. The new 4 part documentary follows the build up to the 2008 West Belfast Festival and takes a look at the history of the festival over the past 20 years. 'Féile an Phobail - 20 Years On', begins on the 19th November 2008 at 7.30pm on BBC2 Northern Ireland.
